Time off for good behavior

Shaking up my day this morning getting out of my little studio to meet up with a friend. It was perfect weather to be out and about today. I headed to a local cafe for a good cup of cafe mocha and to enjoy some engaging conversation. Afterwards I was inspired to create this little doodle.

Cookie cat was patiently waiting for my return.

  8. I liked the drawing and that makes me miss my cat! lol 🙂

  9. The doodle is so playful, it made me smile. Looks like you have a lot of cat lovers (myself included) in your community. Cookie Cat is a natural.

    • Thank you! Haha yes lots of cat lovers here! Cookie is a sweetheart we adopted her this past spring she was a rescue cat. Our first cat we took in was a stray before that never had a cats before.

      • I’ve had a couple of cats (still would if not for a move and keeping my dog, but they went to family so it was all good), they were so entertaining. What surprised me was that they had such personality. And my older cat, Sable (the first adoptee), ruled the roost. When I brought home my rescue dog, Sable was having none of it and didn’t fear the dog as a matter of fact my dog would fall in line with whatever Sable wanted. It was hilarious.

      • Love it, so cute! Cats have diverse personalities. Slowly discovering our cat’s personality, cat will show up out if nowhere to comfort when someone cries. She gives a peck on the face with her nose.

      • Yes, I’m so glad that all the stories I heard about how aloof cats are, were untrue. Some of them can be real characters.
