In the midst of a blizzard inspiration happened after I pulled a cardboard insert from my newly bought gloves. With all the time spent indoors this weekend ( and shoveling), I couldn’t resist creating a wintery mixed media piece. Snowspiration!
Mixed media on wood: (everything but the kitchen sink) Cardboard insert, Acrylic paint, glitter paint, tissue paper, patterned paper, paper flowers, clear beads, pearls, clear matte medium, gloss dimensional medium
love this, white on white with the gorgeous textures and patterns and that little glimmer of color…… cobalt teal!
it also make me wonder about your processes, Were you thinking about wiping away all the snow, clearing a path, hmmm.
I find it interesting in that regard as well!
Thanks Debi! Thought you might like that teal!i like that idea of clearing a path making way for something fresh, new. 👏🏻✨😊
yes! 🙂 cheers, debi
Very clever Jennifer, you just never know where your inspiration will come from.
Thank you Sharon. Indeed always have to be on the lookout for inspiration 😉
I like the small pale green flowers, it’s like a hint of spring there. The blizzard inspired my art today too! Love that you used the gloves insert to make art! And the shimmering beads, nice touch too. 💙
Thanks! The snow was good for something. Hint of Spring, good thought Laura!
I LOVE THE COLORING !
