Days shift to nights
we try to hide
we blanket our fears
we are exposed
we begin to see clearly
From my sketchbook: Pencil and pen sketch on toned paper
I try to uphold to a morning routine by carving out time for myself before the hectic throws of the day. My commitment to writing three long hand pages (morning pages) began many years ago when I read the book, The Artist Way, by Julia Cameron. The routine of writing everyday clears the mind, relieves stress and allows you to tap into your well of creativity on a regular basis. My writing this morning inspired this doodle.

Celebrate! For anyone that supports, encourages and helps someone grow as a person.
When we are woven in life’s moments.. Caught.. We get tangled, we wiggle
slowly we stretch… Grow.. and learn to break free

The invisible current is all around
let it guide you, and just go with the flow

Painting warm happiness on this cold frost day.
Watercolor, pen on paper
Spent some time outdoors on this snow day, trudging through the snow while exploring the fluff covered neighborhood. Beautiful shapes and patterns popped against the white of the day.
Creativity is electric, it is everywhere.
Grateful for the people who inspire everyday, make art and share their creations for everyone to see.
