Happy Day

Little Miss O, happy birthday! It has been 10 years since the day we were graced with your beautiful little face with the rosy cheeks. You gave us a gift of love with your presence, excited to finally hold you in our arms.

In these 10 years you have grown and so has your personality! Dear, you are the most caring, loving child with a wonderful sense of humor and an imaginative spirit. You are shy at times but when the choosing strikes you can be bold, vocal with need to have the last word. You are my love and inspire me everyday. You show me how to live in the moment and see the wonder in everything!

Happy 10th Birthday!

Love you to the moon and back……

Day 9 The climb

My sketch was inspired by nature. I enjoyed a beautiful hike today with friends and while observing my surroundings, I noticed what looked like polka dots dancing on the tall branches of a bare tree. My interpretation on the traveling dots.

Nature inspired, AEDM 2012

This will be my first time participating in the Art Every Day Month  (AEDM), for the entire month of November. My goal is to create something every day, to make time for art big or small. AEDM info page

My inspiration  came from a morning hike along a path where my eye was drawn to a grouping of bright green leaves in a neat pattern amongst dirt debris and brown leaves.

Day 2

re-worked

I haven’t been keeping up with my art a day but this week I discovered some old sketches in my book and decided to re-work them.

This one was a marker sketch of a girl, I just add color using oil pastels.

So I had nail polish on the brain yesterday. Decided to use nail polish to finish a  pencil sketch.  I have painted with nail polish in other unconventional ways like changing the color of furniture handles but never on paper. This picture comes with a side of doodling.
