The process of cleaning and organizing my art space helped to unearth inspiration from previously created drawings. The dust cleared and the wheels began to turn, and the urge to work on multiple projects began. My creative blocks tumbled and crumbled in an instant…. I envision more cleaning in my future!
Reused material and art: Cardboard cover of book, pen sketch, puffed paint, clear matte medium and a bit of dust!
Yes I feel like holding on to the day a bit longer. Sunday always felt like a day to take time for myself, to recharge the senses, relax, create or do the things that make me feel whole again. Always a little sadness for me when wrapping up the day knowing Monday starts all over again. So for now I will enjoy the day.
Take time for yourself, do what makes you happy!
When we don’t look down
When we don’t look around
When we don’t stop to take in the moment
We might miss out on something spectacular
This day during an impromptu trip to the beach with friends, the kiddos looked down as they walked and noticed the ground moving! It was covered with colorful unique shells that slowly moved, snails! Hundreds of them! Squeals of delight, excitement and then curiosity kicked in. So it taught us an important lesson, always look where you step or you might squash a friend!
