Day 30 last day of November and for Art Every Day Month . Thanks to Leah Piken Kolidas for creating this challenge. It has been fun, and challenging to create something everyday, some days felt like an effort to pick up the pencil to draw. But I happily made it to the end, my last post of November: Doodling with inspiration on the mind…
Until next time… #aedm2012
As November is winding down I am trying to keep up with Art Every Day Month, I haven’t sketched for a few days (ok its been a week) so I am posting some previous sketches.
During a brisk walk in the neighborhood a little leaf less tree caught my eye, it was bare except for a handful of seed pods hanging neatly in a row.
This drawing idea came from a very small doodle I made while writing my morning pages.
Art Every Day Month
Created a few petite sketches all under 4″.
Pencil, marker, color pencils on paper.

Art Every Day Month (AEDM)
I was flipping through a sketch book, and came across a drawing my daughter did, which appealed to me. So I decided to interpret what she sketched into a new drawing, I used color pencils and marker on paper.
This is my daughter’s drawing that I based my sketch. In her words, its “just a scribble”
A chilly, grey day. Quick marker sketch in pastel & pencil on paper.
This will be my first time participating in the Art Every Day Month (AEDM), for the entire month of November. My goal is to create something every day, to make time for art big or small. AEDM info page
My inspiration came from a morning hike along a path where my eye was drawn to a grouping of bright green leaves in a neat pattern amongst dirt debris and brown leaves.
