Doodling my way through life

“That pesky ghost was playing with my emotions all night.

I will just smile and wish it away.”

Doodling is habit forming. When the pen hits the paper, my eyes glaze over, the mind is in a trance,  guided by the ink, wherever it takes me. Words, images start to appear sometimes on repeat and when its over I have something unique.

When we know

We change.

When we are woven in life’s moments.. Caught.. We get tangled, we wiggle

slowly we stretch… Grow.. and learn to break free

Have art will travel

I will be packing up my art from my little front room studio (aka spare bedroom) and heading out to sell my work at a public event for the first time.

Saturday June 13th at the Gloucester City Cultural Arts & Heritage Society, annual art festival in Gloucester, New Jersey.

After the event I will be placing available artwork for sale on my Etsy page.

Escape from reality

We could all use an escape from realty if just for a moment or two. It would be a dream for me to create all the time, with no limits of thought or imagination. Creating anything and everything, my list of ideas are plenty (writing a book & song lyrics made the cut) The moment my pencil, or pen hits that white piece of paper I begin the journey inward. I burrow deep, discovering what plagues my heat or brings joy to my soul, it all filters out onto the page.  I love making art and hope that my work can bring a little joy and inspiration to others.
